As you may guess, The Rambler lives pretty far north. This year's summer has been virtually non-existent, but I am still hopeful of eating a freshly picked Marmande tomatoes.
This little beauty, the first to acquire that wonderful reddish colour, is 21 cms in circumference. The plant has been grown from seed. It seems to be thriving on a Gro-Bag in our garden.
I tried tumbletoms this year, in hanging baskets. Not much joy, I'm afraid - about a half dozen dark green marble-sized so far, Still, I live in hope of another 4 weeks of sun. Those look fab!
