G. McCann tells us on his blog today that.
"Unfortunately shortly after arriving in London I had my wallet stolen which meant I was running late."
The McCanns seem to attract thieves!

An incident it appears unreported to PC Plod.
Incidentally the running total does appear on the Blog but appears stuck at £712 K (ish) but is now described as the total money raised and not the net figure of the current account - which is declining presumably as the dosh gets spent.

It would seem that the loss of a wallet wasn't quite the top news story Team McCash had hoped for, so it's now been further revealed that the wallet contained "precious" photo's of Madeleine. Far more heart wrenching eh?
Must have been a bloody big wallet.

And don't forget that other Team McCann story. Apparently there was some poor sod who had a queer turn up in the business class end of the plane on which "Gerry" flew to London!
