This, I think, puts some common sense in front of  the cowardly media who are caving in before a medieval religion.

When I came back from Saudi in 1984, I was going on about how they were a bunch of murderous barbarians, medieval maniacs, needed a Reformation, had missed out on the Enlightenment, and so on. But not for long because I soon realised that this was not going down well with my progressively-minded friends.
